Reduced special prices and Arthur Troop Scholarships
Members of the International Police Association (IPA) receive significantly reduced special prices for all IBZ seminars. Many IPA sections give their members financial support for taking part in seminars at the IBZ; in some cases the section covers the entire participation fee. The amount, procedure and availability of such subsidies are determined exclusively by the supporting IPA section.
In addition, the International Executive Board (IEB) awards ten Arthur Troop Scholarships every year – at least one per continent with IPA sections, i.e. Africa, America, Australasia, Asia and Europe.
The further training scholarship can be awarded to IPA members serving in the police, but is aimed primarily at younger members. Members must submit an application setting out why their selection should be supported. Applications must be forwarded by the respective national section, together with a covering letter from that section, to the International Secretary General (IAC) (email: isg@ipa-iac.org).
Further information on the Arthur Troop Scholarships can be found here.
